An exhibition by Braunton artist Brian Chugg, showing the decaying beach defences left behind in North Devon after World War Two.
‘Ilfracombe’s Faces of War’ .
A unique chance to see a very rare and important exhibition about Ilfracombe’s First World War soldiers’ photographs, displayed together again for the first time since 1918, alongside the letters they sent home. In partnership with the Devon Remembers Project.

From Tues 11th Sept Ilfracombe History Forum Coffee morning, 1030-1230. Cost is annual ticket to museum (£7.50 ) giving free entry for rest of the year, plus £2 for refreshments. New members welcome.
Our coffee mornings are friendly and informal and a great way to meet up for a chat in our wonderful museum atmosphere. And all funds raised go directly to support the work of Ilfracombe Museum!
